Mohawk

Mohawk™ is a huge brand name in floor covering, providing fantastic products for every room in the home. It is committed to designing quality flooring that is engineered to last, and backed by industry-leading warranties.

Its signature product, SmartStrand® with DuPont™ Sorona®, has permanent stain and soil protection built directly into the fibre during manufacturing. The durability is integrated at the molecular level and features spring-like molecules that help the carpet bounce back for better crush resistance and resiliency. Multiple 15 year warranties also back this and many of its other products. Plus, SmartStrand is 37% renewably sourced. Mohawk has showcased the amazing stain resistance in its products with such campaigns as the "License to Spill" carpet showdown in 2013 and Chip Wade's "Rhinoceros Challenge" of 2009. SmartStrand even stands up to dog and cat stains and it offers colour protection that won't fade in the sunlight.

Mohawk actively seeks innovative ways to reduce, reuse, recycle, and renew. It has 500 products currently containing recycled material. The facilities use approximately 3 billion recycled plastic bottles every year to make carpet and other home products. At a few of the ceramic tile facilities, 100% percent of the water from manufacturing processes is completely reused. And for every 63 square feet of SmartStrand carpet produced, the energy savings is equal to 3.79 litres of gasoline.

From carpet and hardwood, to tile, laminate, luxury vinyl and area rugs, there is sure to be a Mohawk product you'll love at Floors Now. We have a huge selection to choose from and our flooring consultants are happy to answer any questions you may have about flooring.
